My Baby is Growing Up!

Alex had is first slow dance on Friday. No, I wasn't following him around with my camera all night! I ended up staying because no one signed up to chaperone. One of the teachers took this for me. Rachel is such a sweetie. She is the friend of one of his classmates so she doesn't go to his school. They've been texting each other for quite a while now. They only got one slow dance the whole night which was good because I think Alex enjoyed it too much!!! Ahh! I'm not ready for this!

Tracy's birthdays are always a fun night out with the girls and Friday was no exception! We had fantastic sushi in the Pearl at Sinju then more wine over at Paradiso Wine Bar. There were some unhappy people at Sinju...can we help it if the tables are so close and we are having too much fun??? SORRY!

Back to the 80's!

Alex is going to be in a play called Back to the 80's. His drama teacher asked all the parents to send in our pictures from this glorious time so the kids could see what great style we had! It was fun going through my old pictures and reminiscing. How did we get our hair like that???

Olivia loved the electricity experiment. I wish I had got a picture of me with my hair up - scary!

I got to spend four days with my beautiful granddaughters recently. We had a lot of fun playing beauty shop, making play-dough ice cream sundaes and going to OMSI. I hadn't been there for quite a while and I was very impressed with their new exhibit for younger kids. Check it out - Science Playground at OMSI. We spent 5 hours there playing! One of their favorites exhibits though was the one that makes your hair stand up. It's all fun until you get shocked though!

Taekwondo Tournamant

We were at a Taekwondo tournament most of the day today. I just love seeing the little tiny blackbelts! They are just so cute! My boy who is not so tiny anymore, did great. He got first in Form and Sparring. He learned his whole form in about 5 classes so that was a real accomplishment for him. He has such a better memory than I ever had or will ever have! I'm so proud as you can tell!

Happy Birthday, Brenda!

This is my beautiful Ya Ya sister, Brenda. We finally got to celebrate her birthday on Wednesday, have our ornament exchange and delicious dinner. We were all having Ya Ya withdrawals because we missed December's get-together. Ya Ya Night is my favorite day of the month...how is it we can laugh so much????
